i decided to order $150 worth of birth certificates so i have plenty of spares and never have to deal with this fucked up state ever again after i finish moving to seattle
the most frustrating part is that i wasted a solid hour waiting in line at the health department only to be told to fuck off to vitalchek dot com
oklahoma is a top 10 state: top 10 in pissing me off
just want to reiterate: 2 years ago, you could just walk in, wait in a queue, show your ID, fill out a form, and walk out with as many birth certificate copies as you wanted. now, you get to wait several weeks for them to process the order. and this system is "new and improved!"
while it is probably new and improved for people who have already left oklahoma, since they don't have to come back, it really is massively crappy for people who do live here
